We know rising costs takes a toll. That’s why we offer extra benefits that help members save. 


Up to $1,500 of dental coverage1

CarePartners of Connecticut HMO plans provide embedded dental coverage that can be used in- and out-of-network

  • CareAdvantage Preferred HMO—Includes $1,500 of dental coverage.
  • CareAdvantage Prime HMO—Includes $750 of dental coverage, plus provides the option to enhance the included dental coverage to the CarePartners of Connecticut Dental Option for an additional $20 monthly premium. Sign up before December 7, 2022, for a January 1, 2023, effective date, or sign up by January 31, 2022, for a February 1, 2023, effective date. Just fill out and submit the form at carepartnersct.com/2023-dental-enrollment. (Members who signed up for the Dental Option in 2022, their coverage will automatically renew.)2
  • CarePartners Access PPO—Includes $1,000 of dental coverage.

Prescription drug coverage


CarePartners of Connecticut makes it easier to save on prescription drugs with a $0 Rx deductible, $0 Tier 1 and Tier 2 Rx copay at preferred pharmacies3 and $0 Tier 6 vaccines (including Shingrix). Plus, insulin costs are capped at $35 a month.

 

Up to $65 per calendar quarter to spend on over-the-counter health items


With a CarePartners of Connecticut Medicare Advantage plan, members get a quarterly allowance to spend on Medicare-approved health-related items at participating retail stores including toothbrushes, aspirin, allergy relief, adhesive bandages, sunscreen, and more.4

 

SilverSneakers® fitness membership at no additional cost


Whether it’s tennis, swimming laps, yoga, or lifting weights, SilverSneakers® has members covered with a $0 membership included with all our Medicare Advantage plans.

 

$0 health screenings


Getting regular screenings is one of the best ways to stay healthy. Take advantage of a $0 copay for many screenings including cancer, cholesterol, glaucoma, and many more. (For CarePartners Access PPO, $0 health screenings applies to in-network services.)


Hearing aid benefit 


With copays ranging from $250 to $1,150 for each hearing aid, members are covered for up to two hearing aids per year, one hearing aid per ear, provided by Hearing Care Solutions (HCS). Members are also covered for a $0 hearing aid evaluation once per year.5 To find a HCS provider, visit hearingcaresolutions.com/carepartnersct.

 

One of the lowest maximum out-of-pocket costs in the state


Members are protected financially—their in-network maximum out-of-pocket limits the amount they would need to pay on medical costs in a year.
