We Pay the Full Amount for New to Medicare Advantage Sales

We appreciate the hard work of our broker community. For sales confirmed by CMS as an initial sale to a member who has never been covered by a Medicare Advantage plan, we pay the full amount – not a prorated amount.

• For sales confirmed by CMS to be payable as an initial sale, (member has never been covered by a Medicare Advantage plan), commissions will be paid at the 1st year level regardless of the month in which the effective date falls. 
• Commissions for subsequent years will be paid at the monthly renewal level.
• If the member is new to Point32Health’s Medicare Advantage Plan, but has been on another Medicare Advantage plan previously, we will pay the initial Renewal Rate commission as a lump sum (pro-rated based on the effective date of coverage) and future renewals at the monthly renewal rate. For example, if a member enrolls from another Medicare Advantage plan but new to CarePartners of Connecticut effective 6/1/2023, we would pay a lump sum through December 2023 totaling $175.28 (7 months x 25.04).
